As part of the rustic/vintagey theme, I sourced a vintage suitcase, which believe me, was not easy as it seems to be the current “in thing” for weddings. I had originally intended covering the suitcase with either fabric patchwork or decoupage, but liked it’s originality, plus the luggage label !
Patchwork decoupage won however in the base of the case, with printed and shaped paper bunting to the lid. A length of vintage cream lace finished this off.
