One of my favourite dog walks

I'll never complain about my Council Tax (well not for a month or so anyway) whilst East Dorset CC fund three of my nearby favourite walks. All are within minutes drive away (and one just footsteps away) and I'm always thankful to have such beauty on my doorstep.

Surprise, surprise, grandson C was also there with some friends enjoying the meandering River Crane. The others are out of sight down the bank. There's also an adjoining golf course.

Purple vetch. It makes me think of Dorma's Country Diary bedding!!

Sometimes adults are a bliddy nuisance. These boys were having a wonderful time with a lump of bread, hook and line. Then along came two separate dog walkers who allowed their dogs to jump in right where the boys were fishing. No doubt on other occassions they'd be whinging about the youth of today. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Miss P lagging behind, too many interesting smells to rush the walk.

Not sure what this box is aimed at, it is quite large.

The "Ice Cold in Alex" watering hole. It must taste delicious after a good walk!
