The heading refers to my wonderful friend “e” from Yorkshire who is staying with me this week. I can’t believe it’s over five years since we last saw each other in the flesh but we both agreed we looked 20 years younger (aint it great to have friends!!).
This is a little record of some of the things we’ve been doing.
Thursday
A lovely journey across my favourite part of the Dorset countryside to Shaftesbury.
Because we were out for the day I took Pebbles and because it was hot I couldn’t leave her in the car, so she restricted my “browsing” therefore shops were only viewed from the outside.

The much photographed Gold Hill, home of the famous Hovis advert.
Then off to Win Green for a picnic.
Just after we arrived a minibus full of school children drew up laden with kites, it was great watching them enjoying themselves.
In the evening we went to see The Producers at The Tivoli in Wimborne. They’re my favourite local blues band who have recently reformed after a few years apart. They didn’t disappoint and the support act, Stomping Dave, was fantastic.
If you like blues, try and get to see these guys.
What a lovely day you had! Shame you couldn't investigate those shops a bit more - they look very interesting!
ReplyDeleteDogs are great for stoping you spend money!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo's - they should have one of those old bakers bikes on that street for Hovis photo opportunities though!
